we'll be celebrating mostly Stella's birthday, but since mine fell on the same day, we may celebrate mine too=)

I love to see the Temple

Well, here we are in Salt Lake City! We just moved to Sugarhouse and so far we love it. Yesterday after church we realized just how close we were to the Salt Lake temple so we decided to take a drive and take some family pictures.

So these were all taken the same day, hence, wearing the same clothes=) My mom, Tom and Jessy came this weekend for a special birthday weekend. Since they won't be able to make it for Stella's first birthday, they decided to come a little early. So, Saturday Tom took David to the golf course to do 18, Mom and I went to Park City to do some shopping, and Jessy stayed home with Stella. Mom and Tom

Stella remembered her grandma and would get really upset whenever anyone would take her away. It was so exciting for grandma and such a good break for mommy!

I LOOOOVE my new dress! She was sweet to come celebrate this weekend, since her birthday was actually on Sunday.

So here are some random pics of the things that have been going on. This is Stella in a little outfit Aunt Jenny gave her... she fits in it now, thanks Jenny and Tori! We miss you!

Stella's cousin Addie came all the way from Indy to swim in the tub =) Mike, Emily and Addie all came out for a few weeks and it was so fun to watch the two baby cousins play. Stella learned to say "more" from Addie and and Addie learned how to crawl on her feet instead of her knees from Stella. It was so fun to watch them together. Stella looks mad, but she's actually just singing at the top of her lungs.

This is sort of late, but for the 4th of July we went to Emily, Brad and Ava's house for a BBQ and firework show in the the driveway... sadly, this is the only picture we took of Stella and Ava.

Stella now has 3 teeth, two on top and 1 on the bottom, although I think I can feel the 2nd one coming up on the bottom, it should be here soon. She's growing smarter every day. One of my favorite things she does is when she crawls across the room to get a book, she crawls back to me, climbs into my lap and hands me the book. We always joke around that's the only time she'll hold still is when you read to her, she loves being read to. Her balance is awesome, she loves standing up in the middle of the room without support, we're expecting a step any day now.

The transition from our last apartment to our new apartments was a little rough for her at first, especially since she got a double ear infection and a sinus infection. But now she's got all the rooms scoped out and has the run of the place so I think she's in her comfort zone again.

She can say: more, uh-oh, ball, boo (for book) mamma and dadda and a whole lot of other things we can't understand yet=)

We also took our scuba diving trip in July and that was awesome. We are getting the pictures scanned from our underwater camera and i'll save all the details for a scuba post in a few days.
